Cochrane, Howard Mark, 91, of Hollywood, FL passed away on November 15, 2009.
Born April 3, 1918, the son of Howard H. Cochrane and Ida Price Cochrane of East Liverpool. Predeceased by sister Betty Cochrane and beloved Grandson William Mark Laube, of Plainview, NY. Mark loved to sing and had boundless energy. He was very charismatic, determined, loving and athletic, and was a high school tennis coach. A passionate music educator, Mark graduated from the University of Kentucky, on a music scholarship as trombonist and was President of his Music Fraternity. Mark served as a Master Sergeant in WW11, as a Director of a United States Army Band in Casablanca He owned and operated Mark’s Piano & Organ Company in Youngstown, Ohio, and was President of the Ohio Music Merchants.
Husband of Joan Cochrane; beloved father of Beth Laube of Plainview, NY and Mark K. Cochrane of Coral Springs, Fl; Proud Grandfather of Mark A. Cochrane, Grace Lintz, of Coral Springs, Fl and Christina Laube of Plainview, NY. Cherished by great grandchildren Aiden and Cheyenne Lintz, and Mark A. Cochrane, Jr. of Coral Springs, FL. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all!
