Mrs. Blackwood,
It was so nice to meet you and hear stories about your husband. I am a “softie” when it comes to meeting policemen. When I was a little boy, my mom tells the story, we were separated and a policeman found me. (I don’t think it was very long but she was panicked.) Then as I reviewed his military records, I was profoundly moved. I wonder how many people knew that he was a combat veteran and decorated with 2 bronze battle stars and a Purple Heart. What an honor for us to help you. Please call me if I can ever help you.
