Irving Howard Pike passed away on October 2, 2017 at his home in Largo, Florida. He is survived by his son Jared Pike, daughter Michelle Pike and brother Herbert Butler. A viewing is scheduled from 12:00 to 1:00 on October 10, 2017 at Veterans Funeral Care in Clearwater, Florida and a graveside service on October 12, 2017 at 11:30 am at Bay Pines National Cemetery with Army honors.

My husband, Scott Klein, was part of the gang that used to hang out at Orve and Maria Johansson’s Baseball Card Company on West Bay Drive. That gang included Gloria and Irv. Scott sold our car – named ‘The Beauty’-to Irv for $1 in June 1999. Scott wrote on that dollar bill ‘Rec’d 6-27-99 from Irv Pike for The Beauty.’ My husband passed away in 2005 and I still have that dollar bill. I have fond memories of Irv and that Baseball Card Company gang. My deepest condolences to your family.
