Isabella “Liz” Giglio-Campisi, 73, of Tampa, Florida passed away at the Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace on June 13, 2015 with her family at her bed side.
She was born February 21, 1942 in Tampa to the late Victor and Catherine Campisi.
A lifelong Tampa native, Isabella led a glorious life with her family. She took pride in her hairdressing and barber business for over 38 years as a stylist, business owner and instructor. “Liz” was the official hairdresser of the Tampa Bay Rowdies from 1976-1981. Her ambition and passion was evident as both Captain and player of the First Woman’s Soccer League. The Hairport Fannies, coached by Farrukh Quraishi, Joseph Fink and Rodney Marsh, was one of her great accomplishments during 1976-1981! She went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice at the age of 50. Yet, another prideful accomplishment! Family, international travel, and good food were among her passions. Isabella was also know by countless others as “Mom” and “Nana”. She was a member of Grace Family Church.
Her humor, love and guidance will be missed by all.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna Ferritto-Giglio and ToniLyn Giglio-Jackson; two son-in-laws; Alan C. Ferritto and Charles T. Jackson; 3 grandchildren, Dominick A. Ferritto, his beloved Gunner, Dylan C. Giglio-Jackson, wife Tessa, and Jared A. Jackson; one brother, Angelo V. Campisi, his wife Toni and their daughter, Tonia Campisi; One sister-in-law, Julia Campisi and one nephew Victor “Vito” Campisi. Isabella also has two sisters.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Tony Giglio, her daughter, Deneen M. Giglio; and her brother, Victor A. Campisi.
A Celebration of her life will commence June 28th, 2015 at Grace Family Church Van Dyke at 5101 Van Dyke Road, Lutz, Florida 33558. The family will receive friends at the church at 4:00 p.m. Pastor Joshua Corbin will officiate the service at 5:00 p.m. and a reception will follow until 8:00 p.m.

You are truly an Angel and we will miss your smile and stories. We are all Blessed to have known you and your wonderful family. Rest now and know that we are still here for Donna and will continue to be whenever she needs us.
