Orender, Iva Louise Chapman, 82, of Tampa.
After battling health problems over the last two years, Iva went to her perfect place of peace and rest with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 10, 2015.
Iva was born in Brooksville January 24th, 1933. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, and love of her life, Carnace Orender; parents Iva and Malcolm Chapman; sister Mildred Chapman; and brother and sister-in-law Roy M. and Evelyn Chapman.
She is survived by her loving and devoted family: son Kenneth Deyarmin; daughter Carol Deyarmin; sister Cretha M. Grant (Aubrey); brother James Lynn Chapman (Glenda); brother Tyrone Chapman (Margie); stepson MG Orender (Donna); stepdaughter Karen Orender Rudolph (Mike); step grandchildren: Morgan Orender (Samantha); Colleen Orender; Jacob Orender; Zachary Orender; two great-grandchildren: David and Benjamin Orender, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
Iva grew up in Brooksville, a graduate of HHS, and worked for Clerk of the Circuit Court before moving to Tampa where she worked in the banking business and then as Cosmetician for Maas Brothers and Burdines. A bit later she decided to become a realtor and broker, established her own real estate business where she worked until health problems forced her to retire.
Over the years she was awarded special recognitions, the most recent awards being both the Florida Realtors and National Association of Realtors “Achievement of Realtor Emeritus” for 40 years of service.
Iva was a very caring, loving person, always helping others and loved sharing her testimony of knowing Jesus as her Savior and loved sharing Him. She was a faithful worker in her church and enjoyed volunteering. She was of the Protestant faith and attended the Miracle Center of Tampa.
Most of all, Iva loved her family and was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and special child of God. Iva loved to cook delicious meals to bless others.
She and her husband then delivered it and thus earned the nickname of “The Meals on Wheels Couple”. They both shared in the joy of giving and helping others. Always willing to assist, never expecting recognition or accolades as they both felt this was God’s calling and gave them much satisfaction.
Some of their happiest times and leisure was traveling near and far, especially by train, and spending time with their children and grandchildren. Carnace was a dedicated worker and retired from the railroad.
Iva will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her, but know they will see her again.
Services will be held graveside at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on November 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM, and will be conducted by Pastor Billy Burke.
The family wishes to extend appreciation to NuVista Living in Lutz, for the outstanding, loving care extended to Iva.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Iva’s memory to your favorite charity.
I am very sorry to hear Mrs Orender passed. She helped me with the sale of a property several years ago off Williams Rd and was such a nice, helpful lady!!! My you find comfort from the God of all comfort and Father of tender mercies as expressed in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.
