I’m so sorry to hear of Mr. Walker’s passing. I will always remember the loving and welcoming home he and Mrs. Walker provided to all of us kids in our church youth group and the fun we had all those years ago! Just last year I reconnected with Janet and Mr. Walker sent me a note on FB saying Hello, it was so lovely to hear from him and know that he remembered me! But that was the kind of special person he was, and it is so good to know that he is at Home now with our Savior! God Bless you all.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Harriet, Janet and family. Your loved one was loved by so many and I hope your memories will bring you peace and laughter.

To the family of James Walker,
My thoughts, love and prayers are with you all! I never had the pleasure of meeting James but corresponded with him through emails on the Evans family history and the proud veterans of our family. His service to this country is heartfelt and astonishing.
I am the granddaughter of Molly Evans Porter. My parents were Gomez Porter Jr. and Phyllis Dravenstott Porter.
Harriet was so sweet and made my girls and me scarves after my parents passed away.
