James Dale Harrison, 80, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Tampa, FL. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda Lou; son, Rob (Joann); granddaughter Paige Ujueta (George); brothers Joe and Jef, sister Judy Duke; several nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
The son of Doc and Ollie Harrison, he was born and raised in Altus, OK. He served in the US Army 28 years, was a Vietnam Veteran and achieved the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4. After military service he retired to Tampa in 1979 and began another career in the electronics industry.
Jim was an accomplished and avid golfer; he played all over the world. He took great pleasure in sharing good food and wine with friends and loved the good conversation that went along with that.
Military Funeral Honors will be held June 1st at 1:30pm at Bay Pines National Cemetery 10000 Bay Pines Blvd. St. Pete, FL 33708. A celebration of life will follow at Highland Park Lake House 11740 Casa Lago Lane. Tampa, FL 33626 from 3PM-5:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Jim’s memory may be made to H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center (Moffitt.org/give-back/donate) or to the WWP 855-448-3937 or online atwww.woundedwarriorproject.org.

So sorry Linda Lou. I thought about you today as I have many times in the last few years and decided to see if could find you and saw that your husband had passed recently. So Sorry. I know you were a pair for a very long time.
