James M. Fraim, Jr entered gently into eternal peace on November, 13th, 2020. He was the son of James and Margaret (Armstrong) Fraim born in Brooklyn, NY on May 18. 1929.
Jim was 21 when he joined the, then newest branch of the military, US Air Force in 1950. Jim served proudly until September of 1953 when he was honorably discharged and the next chapter of his life began. For many years, he worked for Kodak as a production manager. He was a man who loved friends, family, boating, crossword puzzles and a good steak!
He leaves behind his amazing wife Margot (nee Stephan), with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Other surviving family members who will always miss him include daughter Stephanie Ring; son Mitchell Fraim; longtime companion Rosa; 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
His family will have a memorial service at Veterans Funeral Care (830 N. Belcher Rd, Clearwater) on Thursday December 3rd, 2020 at 4:00pm. Then, on Friday December 4th at 12:30 Jim will be interred at Bay Pines National Cemetery with military honors from the US Air Force and Pinellas County Veterans Council.
