James Paul Langford, 81 of Pinellas Park, Florida died April 30, 2020 at his daughters home peacefully. On September 1, 1938 he was born in Rockcastle Kentucky the son of Clemerance and Delbert Langford.
James Langford “Jim Paul” was born in Kentucky and raised in Mason Ohio. After 4 years with the army he married and had 2 children. He was an accomplished country singer and entertainer performing weekly with his band Jim Paul & the Country Gems.
He retired from Kroger’s as a semi-truck driver and moved to Pinellas Park, FL in 2008 to be near his family. He enjoyed singing karaoke with his friends and riding his golf cart around Pinellas county chatting with people. He had a very unique gift of making everyone he met feel special. He loved everyone and had a happy life. He was loved so much and will be missed by all. My dad is singing his tunes in heaven.
James survivors include, son James W. Langford, daughter Vicki Richardson, Grand daughter Ashley Gail Beckman, Grandson Craig Richardson, former wife Gail Damron and son-in-law John VonHof.
Jim Paul I miss you and Love you very much. Our time together was way to short. There is not one thing I do on a daily basis that I don’t think of ” My buddy Jim Paul Langford” You will always be in my heart and my thoughts. I miss you so much. Love John
Jim Paul was a real gentleman with a great sense of humor. I enjoyed him so much singing at my Karaoke show at the Seminole Eagles. He loved his shiney red T Bird and Ford truck. He kept them spotless! We will all miss him
