James Robert Conard, 61, passed away on March 22, 2017 at his home in Ocala, FL. He was born on September 5, 1955 in Amityville, New York. He lived there until his family moved to Largo, Florida in 1972.
He was a loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and working on his motorcycle or “tinkering” with practically anything he could get his hands on. In later years he became quite the cat-person, doting on his fur-children, Chloe and Marty. Not-to-mention, feeding every stray animal around the property. He had a very kind heart. Despite the unfortunate obstacles he was given over the years, he never let it stop him from doing what he loved. He loved to have fun and laugh.
James was preceded in death by his father Frank Conard, mother Mildred Conard and his brother Francis Conard. He is survived by his siblings Kenneth Conard and Mary Lehman. He is also survived by daughter, Patricia ( m. Robert Sciriha), his son Patrick Conard (m. Caley Roach), grandchildren – Kayla (m. Tomily Bourgoing), Andrew Tekely, Noah Dennis, Grayce Dennis, Paris Morphy, Illea Conard, Alexa Conard and great-grandchildren – Emmet Bourgoing and Macie Bourgoing, as well as many nieces and nephews he held close to his heart. Our family will never feel the same without him. He will be greatly missed.
