Janetta Shaw 82, passed on Monday August 30th 2021, at Hospice in Pinellas County, she was born San Diego California December 26th, 1938 to John Wilbur and Beulah Mae (Collins) Rossicoe. She was raised by the loving couple Garrett and Florence Norris of Prairie Creek Indiana where she got her nickname of JON from her dad Garrett.
Her work history includes Paragon Upholstery & Swap Shop Terre Haute, Indiana, Janetta’s Carousel’s, Sculpting and making Antique Porcelain dolls. Janetta enjoyed her music and lifelong singing in groups such as Wabash Valley Ramblers, Saltwater Ramblers and Above Water Band.
She was proceeded in death by her loving husband Keith M. Shaw of 38 years, her parents Garrett & Florence Norris, her birth parents John W. and Beulah M. (Collins) Rossicoe, sister
Mamie Hartley, sister Nellie M. Corby, brother Offie J. Rossicoe, brother John E Rossicoe and nephew John E. (Peanut) Rossicoe Jr.
She is survived by her children Jerry & (Marilyn) Bell, Gary Bell, Larry Bell, Sherry & (Mike) Campagna, Kevin & (Anna) Shaw of Clearwater Florida, Dirk & (Diane) Shaw of Indianapolis and Terri & (Gus) Vencel of Terre Haute, Indiana. Several grand children and great grand children, several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday September 3rd 2021 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave. Bushnell, FL 33513. Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4th 2021 at Calvary Seminole Church at 6155 113th Street, Seminole Florida 33772.
