Jeannette Rose McDonald, age 100, of Dunedin, FL passed away on April 7th, 2024 during her stay at Cedar at Mease Life where she had been a resident for 6 years. The daughter of Leo Lawrence Corbett and Madeline Elizabeth Eicher. She was born in Zanesville, OH on May 30th, 1923 before her family moved to Lexington, OH. She shared 33 years of marriage with Robert W. McDonald. They were united in holy matrimony in Mansfield, OH in October of 1972. Jeannette was very active in her HOA serving as president and treasurer for many years. She was a long-time member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Dunedin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert and her daughter, Therese. She is survived by her sons, Daniel and John, and her daughters, Marguerite and Linda, her grandchildren, Denise Johnson and Conrad Drumheiser, as well as 12 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. A special thanks to the staff at Cedar at Mease Life for taking such excellent care of her. Jeannette will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends.
Services will be held at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church on April 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. followed immediately by interment at Bay Pines Military Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 639 Edgewater Dr., Dunedin Fl 34698.
