Jerry Carlton Frier, 76, of Tampa, Florida passed away February 2, 2023 at his home. He was born in Tampa, Florida on January 23, 1947 to Jake and Maude Frier.
Jerry graduated from Robinson High School and the University of South Florida and spent the majority of his professional career in real estate development. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the US Army with the 101st Airborne Division.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sara Lee; a son, Cory Frier (Jennifer); granddaughters; Kate and Virginia Frier; one sister, Janet McGovern(Mike) as well as extended family.
A graveside service will take place on March 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Frier.
He will always be the dad across the street throwing us passes in the front yard and coaching us on the baseball field. Many fond memories from my childhood included big Jerry. May he rest in peace.
