On January 30, 1965, he married the love of his life, Suzanne DeJohn, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Together they shared 61 years of marriage, building a life centered on family, faith, and friendship.

A proud United States Marine Corps veteran, Jerry attained the rank of Corporal and earned recognition as a sharpshooter. Following his military service, he built a
successful career in finance, working for HSBC and Citi Corp. Jerry was deeply involved in his communities throughout his life. He served as President of the Board of Plantation Estates, was a Charter Member of the Webster-Fairport Elks Club, and remained an active member of the club for many years. He was also a devoted member of All Saints Catholic Church in Palm Harbor.
Jerry spent much of his life in Webster, New York, and cherished his summers in Cape Vincent, New York. An avid fisherman and hunter, he found great joy in the outdoors and in sharing those experiences with family and friends.
