John Francis Hofferle


John Francis Hofferle, 66, of Clearwater, Florida passed away on March 4, 2017 at his residence. His funeral service is 2:15 pm, Friday, April 28, 2017 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 1000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines Florida 33744 with the United States Air Force and the United States Marine Corps, Det # 54 Honor Guard, officiating. He lived many places in his life and the following is a journal of his different residences throughout the world.

He was born on August 8, 1950 in Bellevue, Pennsylvania and move to the local area from Elgin, Illinois. He was a United States Air Force veteran that served two tours of duty and was a computer repairman in the electronics and computer equipment field. During his 8 years of active duty, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal; Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters and the United States Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon.

He is survived by his son, Jason Hofferle and his wife, Jana of Chester, Virginia and numerous

nieces and nephews.
