John Wayne Schramm, age 82, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died on December 4th, 2025, at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital. He was born on December 23rd, 1942, in Crystal Lake, Illinois. He was the son of the late John Henry Schramm and Catherine Hill Schramm. His survivors include his sister Sandra Marquardt, daughters Peggy Ann, Lisa Linn, and Danie Marie, and sons David John, Brian William, and Maxwell. His grandchildren include Kayla, Morgan, Dino, Joey (deceased), Sammy, Gracelyn, Amanda Brooke and Jessica Anna and a great grandchildren Seth Anthony and Alara. He was preceded in death by his brother Terry Schramm, grandson Joseph Anthony Vilardo, and his son Aaron Jacob Schramm.
He owned used car dealerships in the Chicago area until his relocation to Florida, where he established a successful chain of used car dealerships.
He lived in Chicago from 1942 until moving to Florida in 1980.
He enjoyed art and drawing, working on home improvement projects, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, b
oating, and attending automotive shows.

John Schramm will be remembered for his vibrant spirit and engaging personality that charmed everyone he met. He had a true zest for life and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, friends, family, and the staff at Boca Ciega.
Jack was truly exceptional. He was consistently authentic, quick-witted, charismatic, and humorous, remaining steadfast in his beliefs regardless of circumstances. His positive energy was contagious. Jack’s kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Whether through a simple joke, a thoughtful gesture, or a heartfelt conversation, he made everyone around him feel appreciated.
Funeral arrangements will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 4:30 p.m. liturgy and slideshow at Veterans Funeral Care, 830 North Belcher Road, Clearwater, Florida 33765.
Arrangements were made by Lisa Sitarz, his loving daughter.
