Lopez, Jose Luis Lopez Sr. a.k.a. “Papi”, 60, joined the Lord in Heaven on September 4, 2015. He could fix anything from diesel engines to a tiny wrist watch. He dedicated 18 years of service to People’s Gas as a gas technician. He is remembered by saying ” I never think of the worst”, while repairing a gas leak in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Jose was a friend to everyone in his community. The memories of his charm and smile will live on in our hearts forever. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Lopez, and is survived by his mother, Victoria Cruz Perez; sons, Jose Luis Lopez Jr., Angel Luis Lopez and wife, Erica, and Elias Tisbita Lopez; daughter, Luz Maria Lopez; grandchildren, Sophia Lopez and Jader Pineda; mother of his children, Nilda Molina as well as a loving extended family and circle of friends. The family will receive friends 2-3pm Thursday, September 17th at Grace Family Church, Temple Terrace. Condolences may be offered below.

Cuanto duele la muerte de un ser amado, bien sabemos que, a casi nadie le gusta hablar de la muerte; duele demasiado por ende lo evitan. Sin embargo, tarde o temprano, todos tenemos que enfrentarnos a ella. Por tal razon, hoy deseo compartir con usted un mensaje de esperanza. Dios nos da en su Palabra, la Biblia, la esperanza de que los volveremos a ver en un paraíso terrestre.“Todos los que están en las tumbas conmemorativas” resucitarán (Juan 5:28, 29). En su palabra nos promete que: “Va a haber resurrección así de justos como de injustos”(Hechos 24:15). En Isaías 25:8 leemos que Jehová “realmente se tragará a la muerte para siempre”. Que maravilla,volver abrazar a los que ya han muerto y jamas temer verlos morir, le invito a que busque dichos versos en su Biblia, le daran paz mental y una esperanza sin igual.
