Joseph Nicholas Distefano, age 81, of Seminole, FL passed away on November 8, 2023, at Lake Miriam Health and Rehab. He was born on August 3, 1942, in Trenton, NJ.
He is survived by 3 children- Joseph Distefano III, Victoria Clark, and Joy Dinolfo and 6 grandchildren- Joseph, Lana, Zachariah, Luna, Finley Belle, and Hank Danger.
Joseph was a Christian Jew. He was a PhD Biochemist who grew up in Bordentown, NJ attending Bordentown Military Institute.
He was in the US Air Force for 9 years. He was an avid collector and talented pilot. Joseph was unique in his brilliance, kind heart, and generosity.
The family would like to thank Joseph Anthony, his grandson, for visiting often towards the end of his life to talk with him and listen to his Christian music.
His services will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery, on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 2:30 PM.
We are so sorry for your loss! Joe was an amazing person. We were so blessed to know him and call him a friend!
