I was the first wife of your cousin, Edward White. We were married for twenty-two years so your family was part of our lives. I thought very highly of both Jo and Merle. After our divorce and my second marriage, Jo continued to send me and my husband a Christmas card every year, with updates on your family. I enjoyed receiving them every Christmas!! I am still close to Edward’s family. Beverly called me last night to let me know about your mom’s passing. I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy. She was always very sweet and kind to me! You all were very blessed to have had so many years with her. You all will be in my prayers in the days ahead. May you find comfort in all the many memories that you shared. Love to you all!
To Carol and Barbara and the entire Brann family, Josephine will always hold a special place in my heart. She was my brother’s mother-in-law and as a child I spent lots of time in her and Merle’s home visiting. Barbara and I had lots of fun hanging out together.
Josephine was so kind to me and during my illnesses a few years ago she took the time to have my name placed in the Temple for prayer and always took the time to send me a card.
May you find peace and comfort during this sad time. Much love to you all.

Carol,
I was sorry to hear about your mother’s passing but I enjoyed hearing your stories about her. It is so hard to lose a mom. May God bless you and your family as you remember her life of service to you and all of her family.
