Joy Davis Cox, 76, of Morriston, FL peacefully passed away on Aug. 2, 2017. Joy grew up in Columbus, GA and graduated from Jordan High.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick L. Cox; daughter, Constance Cox; sisters Jean Davis McWaters, Susan Davis Morgan; brother-in-law, Fred Morgan; nephews, Bill Hubbard, Garris Morgan, and Jeffrey Golomb; and nieces, Cindi Hubbard, Susan Hardin and Copper Gyer.
Joy will be missed for her smile, her love of family and friends, and her giving heart for animals especially her lifelong love of horses. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations, in Joy’s name, to Schnauzer Love Rescue, Attention: Marty Morgan,1356 Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham AL 35235. Memorial services TBA.
