Juanita Tejeda passed into the presence of our Lord and Father God on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016 at the age of 83. The family will receive friends this Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Calvary Open Bible Church 11 North McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, Florida 33759, from 1:00 pm until 2:30pm. Her funeral service will be held at the Calvary Catholic Church Cemetery, 118th Avenue, Clearwater, Florida. Services will be officiated by Pastor Reyes.
A native of Dominican Republic, Juanita Tejeda was born on January 9th, 1933 in the town of San Jose de Ocoa. She was the first in her family to reside in United States in 1961. Upon arriving in the United States, Juanita spent most of her life residing in Elmhurst and Jackson Heights New York, She was a lifelong seamstress and wedding gown designer at Richard Warren Enterprises. Throughout the following decades, Juanita gave much effort in bringing relatives from the Dominican Republic into U.S. In 2015, Juanita moved Clearwater, Florida and became a member of Calvary Open Bible Church.
Juanita was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving children: Neftali Vasquez, Elizur Vasquez, Elcia Vasquez, Mirca Taveras, Johanna Vasquez, Sarita Bou and Gilda Milland; two brothers, Juan Tejeda and Cesar Tejeda, twenty six (26) grandchildren and twenty one (21) great grandchildren.

La familia estará celebrando su vida este sábado, 23 de julio en la iglesia Calvary Open Bible Church, 11 North McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, Florida 33759 de 1:00 a 2:30 de la tarde. Su funeral será en el cementerio Calvary Catholic Church Cemetery, 118th Avenue, Clearwater, Florida. Los servicios serán dirigidos por el Pastor Reyes.
Juanita Tejeda nació en San José de Ocoa, República Dominicana el 9 de enero, 1933. Ella fue la primera en llegar a los Estados Unidos en el año 1961. Al llegar a los Estados Unidos, Juanita residió en Elmhurst y Jackson Heights en Queens New York. Ella era una modista y paso la mayor parte de su vida elaborando y diseñando trajes de novias. Al llegar a los Estados Unidos Juanita se esforzó para traer a todos sus hijos a este país. Juanita fue una madre amorosa, hermana, abuela y bisabuela. Le sobreviven sus hijos Neftali Vasquez, Elizur Vasquez, Elcia Vasquez, Mirca Taveras, Johanna Vasquez, Sarita Bou and Gilda Milland; 2 hermanos, Juan Tejeda y Cesar Tejeda, veintiseis (26) nietos y veintiun (21) bisnietos.
