Dianne was a huge part of my 18 and 17 year old daughters’ lives as their primary teachers and involved in their baptisms. She wrote my husband and I a sweet letter and gifted us something cool just six years ago after we moved to Utah. I know she loved and missed her IL church family as much as we missed her. She loved Dan fiercely and has a strong testimony of Christ’s Atonement. Love you Aunt Dianne.
I first met Dianne in the early 1960s at her parents-in-laws’ home in Burlington on a trip back to Iowa from NJ (I am her late husband’s first cousin). I was little; it seems that my Mother and I displaced Dan and Dianne from their bedroom and I remember peeking around the corner to see them sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room. I thought that she looked like a movie star. As I grew to know Dianne I knew her as an engaging, loving and good wife, mother and grandmother. Due to geography I didn’t often see Dianne but always felt close to her. She was an amazing person. May God Rest Her!
Ron and I send our deepest sympathy to Dianne’s family upon her passing to eterrnal life.
