Karolyn A. Johnson, loving mother / grandmother /great grandma went home to the Lord on April 19th, 2021. Karolyn was born on March 27th, 1946 in Madison, Wisconsin and was raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She loved the outdoors, the beach, traveling, her dog and being with her family & friends. She was known as “The Great One” who was filled with tenacity, love and always full of interesting stories.
She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd & Dora, sisters Margery, Betty, brothers Richard, JR, & Gilbert. She is survived by her 4 children: Perry (Ceara) , Kimberly, Dawn and Mark (Gergana), 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held in her honor in June and her ashes will be spread by family in her favorite places ( The Ocean in Florida & Estes Park, Colorado).

We miss you terribly but have all of the wonderful memories throughout the years to look back on. There are so many stories to smile about because of you. You always lived life to the fullest and never made excuses. You did it your way with grace and tenacity. You were truly one of a kind and we are so grateful to have had you in our lives for as long as we did. We love you to infinity and beyond times squared!
