Kathy L. Kesner, 56, of Palm Harbor, FL passed away on Thursday evening, January 28, 2016 at home.
Born in Miami, FL she moved here in 2008 after living in many places across the country including New Jersey and Texas. She enjoyed traveling, the ocean, skiing and running. She was a certified Scuba diver and she ran in the Boston Marathon. She attended Christ Church in Palm Harbor and Calvary Chapel in Pinellas Park, FL.
Survivors include her son, Philip of Palm Harbor; daughter, Jacquelyn Kesner of Boston, MA; mother and stepfather, Jeanette and Bill James of Prosperity, SC; and four sisters: Becky Iacuone of Palm Harbor, Julie Rizzuto of Safety Harbor, FL, Pam Papaleo of Palm Harbor, and Kristi Hinote of Davie, FL.
A celebration of her life will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Christ Church, 1111 Indiana Avenue, Palm Harbor 34683. The family will greet friends one hour prior and after the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to ALS Association, Florida Chapter, 3242 Parkside Center Circle, Tampa, FL 33619-0907 or Christ Church.
Sending my love and wishing you peace for healing during this sad and difficult time. Embrace your happy memories and I hope they help you know that she is now an angel of God. No more sadness, pain or tumultuous times ahead for her. Jesus is wrapping her in the glory of the afterlife. We only wish her peace, and the glory and mercy of our mighty Lord. No doubt she will always be with you. God bless each and every one of you left behind for healing of the heartache of missing her. Believe and He will provide comfort and peace.
