Kevin Lacey 49, of C.Lacey Plumbing, passed away on May 8th, 2020 at home in Clearwater, FL

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Janet Lacey, Son Charles Lacey, His Mother Kathy Brison (Bob Brison), Brothers Matt Amis(Angela Amis) Brian Perkins(Pam Perkins) Sister Laura Canary(Chuck Canary) In laws Edward and Janice Lowery, Bothers-in-law Jerry Dilley(Monica Dilley) and Edward “Spanky” Lowery, Sister-in-law Amanda Lowery, Nephews Wayne Dilley( Rebecca Dilley) Ryan Dilley, Austin Swisher, Brody Amis and Wyatt Canary, Nieces Sara Dilley and Lauren Amis. Kevin is predeceased by his father Charles E Lacey.

Kevin was born in Columbus,  Indiana on September 14th, 1970 to Charles E Lacey and Kathy Brison. He followed in his father’s footsteps continuing on the plumbing company his father built. Kevin passed on that passion and knowledge to his boys Charles and Wayne who have continued in his footsteps. Kevin was close to all his employees and considered them family: Dawn Robb, Rodney Hoerle, Josh Roman, Cody Delgado and Nick Accetta.

Kevin lived with his illness for many years making it past expectations, as he was a fighter. He was very proud of his family and especially Charlie and Wayne and the amazing men they have become. We will cherish our wonderful moments with him and though we would never be ready to say goodbye, we know his struggle is over and he is at peace.

A memorial service will be scheduled once the pandemic guidelines allow for a gathering.

  • Kathleen Williams says:

It’s always hard for me to face the passing of friends. I always feel uncomfortable,….sad,…..and “angry at the same time”,..because the good Lord has been taking away so many of my friends in the last few years. I truly wish we could all live FOREVER. I sure hope,…like everyone always says,…”They are in a better place”,…is TRUE! Because everyone I know — DESERVES to be in the BEST PLACE EVER. God Bless you and your family!

I am so very sorry that you have lost Kevin at such a young age. It is clear how much love you had for eachother by all of V those beautiful pictures you shared. I only met Kevin a few times and sure wish I had gotten a chance to have a conversation with him. I know Lyle and Bryan thought a lot of Kevin and he will always be a dear friend and classmate who shared so many good memories from their days at Seminole Vo-Ag Farm.
Janet I hope you will join us for another visit at Jim’s when it is ok to visit again. It will be good for the boys to shsre stories about their times with Kevin.
