Kris Michael Virga, 36, of Lakeland, Florida passed away at his residence on February 28, 2015 from natural causes. His funeral was held at 11:30 AM, on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida 33513 with the US Army and the Veterans of Foreign War Post 10209, officiating.
Kris was born on August 30, 1978 in West Islip, New York to Joseph and Karen (Krambeck) Virga and he was of the Catholic Faith and a career US Army Veteran retiring from the US Army as A Sergeant.
In addition to his parents, Frank and Karen Virga of Holiday, Florida, he is survived by his grandmother, Mary Virga of Port Richey, Florida; a son, Anthony Virga of Lakeland, Florida; a daughter, Krista Virga of Lakeland, Florida two children that he was also raising, Kelsey and Alexandrea Corcoran, both of Lakeland, Florida; a brother, Daniel Virga and his wife, Melinda of Bellville, Illinois and two sisters, Joella Breitenbecker of Long Island, New York and Deanna Bayer and her husband, Ron of East Islip, New York.

My dad was the best dad he protected us, he did not spoil us meaning me, Allie, and tony but when i met jenny who i think did drugs and now i know she was bad very bad and shannon short was too short and not right for him also shannons kids were HORRIBILE SOOO MEAN to me and anthony but those two women are in the past. But when the oficer said ‘your father has passed away” i idmeitly cried so hard that i still cry even when i was sleeping over at my cousins house just when they weren’t looking so i loved my father and i have one question for ho ever killed my dad I WILL HUNT U DOWN THE REST OF UR LIFE and if jennifer jauqes killed him IF UR NOT ALREADY DEAD FOR DRUGS I WILL KILL U UNDERSTOOD bye i always think of my dad.
Dear Allie, Kelsey, Krista & Anthony…I am so sorry for the loss of your dad! I just looked him up today & have for his obituary, to say I am shocked and saddened by his passing doesn’t even come close to the hurt I am sure you all have had in this last year. Your dad and I dated a few months towards the end of 2011 & he loved you four so much! Kris was very proud of ALL of you. Your future, the life he wanted to give you all, his hopes and dreams were all conversations we had many times. Despite all of his medical & mental issues, that man always had love foremost in his heart and mind for you all & I wanted to share that. He was a good man, and we had a lot of laughter for a couple of months. My heart goes out to you all & I hope you are well!
