Lawrence “Larry” Hansley passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 78. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 13, 1944, to Mary L. (Keefe) Hansley and John “Jack” E. Hansley. After graduating from Walnut Ridge High School, he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1964-1968, and he went on to attend Columbia Bible College and Melodyland School of Theology where he graduated with a bachelor’s in theology and was ordained as a pastor. He held many jobs including pastor, telecommunication technician, and facilities manager. He loved golf, fishing, telling jokes, playing Bingo and cards, putting puzzles together, and spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Candie Hansley; his daughters Lori (Hansley) Steele [Jim] and LeAnne (Hansley) Steurnagel [Chris]; sons Jason Hansley [Kristie] and Nathan Hansley; grandchildren Ryan and Sydney Steele, Aden and Evan Hansley, Brighton, Owen, and Kylee Steurnagel, and Sarah Topper [Jim]; great-granddaughter Celeste Topper; brothers Terry [Karen] Hansley, Tim Hansley, John [Marie]Hansley; sisters Nancy Hansley and Jan (Hansley) Ellis [Gary]; aunt Ginny Hansley; and numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Calvary Church located at 625 Crystal Beach Ave, Crystal Beach, FL 34681 on Saturday, June 24 at 11 o’clock. All are welcome.
