Died-9/11/26@ Sturgill Hospice House in Brooksville, FL After a Long battle with Cancer.
He was born on November 13-1953 in Clearwater, Fl, at Morton Plant Hospital.
His Parents were Imogene Jackson Wilkerson and Edward Olon Wilkerson
He was married to Betty Jean Hendrix Wilkerson
He attended Largo High School. His occupation was Block layer/brick layer for several builders in the Clearwater, Fl area, as well as Brooksville, Fl
He loved to be creative and when given a job that was a little unique, he made it work. He also liked restoring items he found “here and there” and making them useful again.
He loved the outdoors. Grilling good food, playing golf and fishing were at the top of his list. His favorite fishing place was Clearwater Bay where he played as a young boy.
He loved listening to music and spending time with grandchildren when they were young, teaching them about the outdoors and dancing, and playing various games. When Lesllie was growing up, he wanted to start a “Rock Band.”
He was artistic and liked to try his hand at painting and making greeting cards for family. For a man who liked to spend time alone, people never quite knew the talents he possessed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Olon Wilkerson, his mother, Imogene Jakcson Wilkerson, his brother, Edward Forrest Wilkerson, Grandmother Cleone Chambliss and many aunts and uncles which were also a part of his life
He is survived by his wife, Betty and Sisters: Dorothy Lyons (JT) of Largo Fl, Kimberly Livingston (Steve) of Dallas Georgia and Karli Smith (Paul) of Dakota Dunes, South
Dakota.
His daughter Misty Weathersby and grandchildren Halle Bowers, Justice McDonald and Dcarlos Weathersby.
Daughter, Sunny Wilkerson with grandchildren Briana Smith, Aubrey West, and Aiden Pugh. All from Fort Walton Beach, FL
A small private service will be held by the family at a later time with scattering of ashes.
