Les will be missed. There were so many good times on his beloved sailboat “the Serenade”. He surly must be sailing with the angels now wearing his trusty and crusty Captains hat. God Bless You Les.
Ines, We were just told the sad news yesterday. We are so sorry for your loss. Our children, Jen and Brad, as well as Al and I absolutely adored Uncle Les. He had many great stories and made the best birthday cakes for his “cat’ when we visited. Please know that you are in our thoughts. Love, Al & Ann
I knew Les and his wife in the early 2000’s and was also their nurse.
Visited them often at their home in Terra Verde.
I could listen to Les for hours explaining the work he did with microwave and other things. He was always in his garage shop making something new.
Once when we were sailing he asked me to steer in a precise direction and he went down below to make lunch. By the time he came back up he was in a panic and said I had taken them to Mexico. I never knew if he was teasing or not… He is dearly missed
