It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Logan Patrick Dowling, who was taken from us too soon on September 29, 2024 at the tender age of 27. Logan brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind heart, radiant smile, and boundless curiosity. Though his time with us was cut short, the depth of love and happiness he shared will forever remain in our hearts. Logan is survived by his father and mother, Scott and Lory Dowling of South Florida, his brother, Dustin (Kaylie), his nephew, Jase, of South Carolina, his grandmother, Sandra Owens Banks, Miami, Florida his aunts Linda Spence (Terry) of Hialeah, Florida, Donna Owens Knittle of Miami, Florida, his uncles Brian Dowling (Annette) and Kurt Dowling (Karen Thieme), of Central Florida, and his step-uncle, Tim Banks, Washington State. He is also survived by his precious dog, Misty, and many cousins who loved him very much. Logan graduated from Pembroke Pines Charter High School in 2016 and went on to work for his father’s company, A-1 Copy Tech as a field technician. Logan held a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo, and was widely known as an exercise and health fanatic. You could always find him with a gallon of water. He loved everything outdoors– hiking, rucking, swimming, sunbathing and stargazing. Logan was also known as a cryptocurrency genius and was a wealth of advice for his extended family on the subject. Logan was never one to shy away from a controversial conversation, but always spoke with respect for differing viewpoints and truly wanted to understand how others saw the world. Logan cared deeply for his family and sought to bless as many people as he came across. He loved to speak with Veterans and volunteered many weekends to keep them company. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend and will be greatly missed.
A service celebrating Logan’s life will be held on October 18, 2024, at 11am at Redemption Point Assembly of God in Inverness, Florida, where friends and family are invited to remember a life that was truly a gift to us all. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Plantation Animal Clinic in Crystal River. Logan was passionate about animals being cared for properly and this will honor that passion by helping them get care when cost is an issue. Please label any donations with the title, “Dowling Fund.” If there are any inquiries on this process, please speak with Brian Dowling.
