In Loving Memory of Mabel F. Walker, 1929-2025
Mabel Francis Walker, of Oldsmar, FL, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the age of 96. She was born in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, on March 3, 1929, to Ulysses H. and Nettie Jane Clark (Billiter). She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred (Bob) Walker; her sisters, Juanita, Etta Mae, and Lorraine; and her parents, Ulysses H. and Nettie Jane Clark. Mabel is survived by her beloved children, David (Sheila) Walker, Cindy Brust, and Sharon (Stephen) Ryan, and stepsons Steven and Frank Walker; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and other extended family members.
Mabel was best known for being strong-willed, quick-witted, and having a vibrant personality and playful sense of humor. Early in her life, she learned to play the guitar, enjoyed singing, and appreciated reading and writing poetry. Mabel lived a full life and surrounded herself with the family she loved so deeply. Mabel is loved by many and missed by all.
Memorial Service on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 4 PM at Calvary Church, 110 N. McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, FL 33759, and graveside services for family members will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 12:30 at the Bay Pines National Cemetery.
