Margarita Maria Rodriguez was born on December 28, 1953 in Havana, Cuba to Joaquin and Margarita (Diaz) Rodriguez. She passed away on June 23, 2017 under the care of Hospice surrounded by a loving family.
Margarita was a Navy nurse and was honorably discharged on June 18, 1974 at the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade. At the time of her honorable discharge she was entitled to wear the National Defense Service Medal on her uniform. A graveside service with military honors is scheduled for Monday, June 26, 2017 at Florida National Cemetery with the United States Navy to provide military honors.
