Marguerite Lapierre Marcotte, age 75, of Largo, Florida passed away June 21st, 2022 at the Morton Plant Hospital following a long term illness. She was born on November 6th, 1946 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to Albert & Irene Lapierre. She was married on August 14th, 1965 to Roger Dollard Marcotte in the state of Rhode Island. Together they shared 51 years.
Survivors include siblings Roger Lapierre & wife Jeanne Lapierre, sister-in-law Kathy Lapierre, sons Steven Marcotte, Brian Marcotte, and wife Katie Marcotte, daughters Cindy Field and husband Thomas Griswold, Nicole Gargiulo, grandchildren Joshua, Tyler, Tanner, Madison, Caleb, Adam, Evan, Elias, Michael, McKenzie, and great grandchildren Aedyn, Carter, Lucas, and Hailey.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband Roger Marcotte, her brother Rene Lapierre, and son Bruce Marcotte.
She lived in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and most recently Largo, FL. She had a great deal of love for her dog Bella.
Marguerite wanted to extend an extra thank you to Cindy Marcotte and Joshua Marcotte for all the unconditional love and support.
Funeral services will be held privately by the family.
To Steve, Brian, Cindy and Nicole we are so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a very kind and caring person who would do anything for her family. She was loved by all who knew her and her RI French family. We shared a lot of good times over the many years together. She will be missed and our prayers go out to all of you at this difficult time.
