ROBERSON, Martha Anne 2/8/1933 – 5/8/2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Martha Anne Roberson, of Seminole, Florida, announces her passing, on May 8, 2023 at the age of 90 years young.

Martha loved life and opened her heart to a life of faith and service.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lewe Frank Roberson; her parents,

Thomas Alexander Smith, III and Thelma York Arnold;

She is  survived by her loving sisters, Mary Lee Reynolds and Marion Aldridge. She will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Deborah Love,

Robin Lynch, and Jill Johnson; her granddaughters, Noelle Brown and Ginger Love, and her grandniece, Fionna Nastari.

She will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends who meant so much to her.

Martha was a career wife and mother. She gave her entire life to the service of the Lord, attending Howard University Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama. She shared and taught the word of the Lord her entire life.

She loved working with the deaf and became a skilled deaf interpreter, and with the help of her husband, formed the McElwain Baptist Church for the Deaf, in Mountain Brook, Alabama. While living in Florida, one of her greatest joys was her church, Indian Rocks Baptist Church, which she considered her extended family. She also loved singing in every church choir she attended.

A Celebration of Martha’s life will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist

Church of Indian Rocks Baptist in the Chapel, 12685 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33774. Internment took

place at Bushnell Veteran Cemetery in a private family ceremony on May 12, 2023.
