Martin Joseph Nicholson, 84, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2022, in Clearwater, Florida. Martin was born on May 10, 1937, at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Martin Nicholson and Anne (Conlin) Nicholson, the brother of Wayne Nicholson and the late Linda Powers. He is survived by his three children: Valerie Nicholson, Sharon Smaldone (John) and Todd Nicholson (Mary). Martin will be missed by his grandchildren, Joseph Rinaldo, Samantha Rinaldo, Todd Rinaldo, Jonathan Smaldone, Alexandra Smaldone, the late Dylan Nicholson, Kyle Nicholson, and Cole Nicholson.
Martin is a retiree of Grumman Aerospace. During his retirement years, he worked at The Home Depot where he met his best friend Marshall Aylesworth (Tracey). He will truly miss all of his friends.
In respect of Martin’s wishes, there will be no services. His family asked that you kindly consider a donation in his memory to either St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriner’s Hospital for Kids.
