Mary Alice Haldeman, 73, was born May 10, 1946, in Findlay, Ohio to Lester and Maryell (Nau) Hartman. She was the oldest of four children, Timothy Nau Hartman, Lynette Sue, and Daniel John Hartman, all deceased.
On April 5, 1969, Mary Alice married her best friend and love, Edward Dean in Fostoria, Ohio. He lives in Riverview, Florida. Mary Alice has one living son, Eric (Sherrie) and one granddaughter Lilly of Louisville, Kentucky.
Mary Alice graduated from Elmwood High School in 1964. She worked in Quality Control at RCA in Findlay, then in Quality Control at Honeywell in Fostoria retiring in 2003. She was a member of UAW 533 in Fostoria.
Upon retiring, Mary Alice joined her husband in Riverview, Florida to enjoy their later years together. Mary Alice enjoyed sewing, reading, going to flea markets and treating friends to her baked goods.
As per her wishes, Mary Alice was cremated and her ashes placed in a family plot in W. Millgrove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please give to your Veterans Association.

MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO ED AND FAMILY, I AM SO SHOCKED, WHAT A LOVELY WOMAN MARY ALICE WAS I GOT TO KNOW HER VERY WELL OVER THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS WITH HER STAYING AT THE BEST WESTERN HERE IN FOSTORIA I ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO HER COMING AND GETTING TO VISIT WITH HER, SHE WILL BE SADLY MISSED. WHAT A GENEROUS COMPASSIONATE WOMAN SHE WAS- WE NEED MORE PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD LIKE HER.
