Losing Mom has been so difficult, but I’ve tried to look back over the days when she was healthy and the happiest times we shared together as a family. The summers the kids spent with Grandma and Grandpa and boating on the lake, trips to Disney, Sea World and Busch Gardens. Mom loved when all the family was together. She loved neighbors to drop by and stay awhile….always ready for a party.
In recent months, she struggled, but always kept a strong spirit to overcome her disease. Now, she is at peace with Dad……..together again.
I love you Mom!
Its always sad to lose a grand parent and nothing can make that better. But I will always remember fondly spending the summers with my grandparents in florida. I loved playing “chase the ace” with grandma and watching her sleep through a hand of poker (even when she said she was just resting her eyes). She took great pleasure in ribbing me that she made a hole-in-one and I never did. I will miss her dearly.
love you grandma.
