Michael Begley, age 78, of Lutz, Florida, passed away on May 20th, 2025, at the Tampa VA Medical Center following a long illness. Born in New York, New York, he was the son of James and Anna Begley.
Michael married Michelle Artaud in July 1990 in New York City, and together they shared 35 years of marriage. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; his brother, Kevin; and his nephew, Terrence. He was preceded in death by his siblings, James, Karen, and Eileen Begley.
A proud Navy veteran of the Vietnam War era, Michael retired from Pepsi-Cola Corporation. He was an active member of his local VFW and the American Legion. Throughout his life, he lived in New York City, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Nashville, TN; and Lutz, FL. He enjoyed watching sports and was most proud of his service in the US Navy.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 3rd, at 1:30 p.m.
