Michel Doyle Murphy, 59, of Tampa, Florida passed away on February 4, 2016.
Mike was born December 31, 1956 in Fort Bragg, California, a son of the late Herbert Murphy and Gayle Remstedt Murphy.
He served in the United States Army. He worked in housekeeping in the Cardiac unit of the VA Hospital. He enjoyed computers, the beach, and stamp and coin collecting. He also enjoyed the family antiques. His family remembers him as having a wonderful sense of humor. he was a good father and friend.
Survivors include one son: John Murphy of Conyers, Georgia and one daughter: Vicky Murphy of Conyers, Georgia; three grandchildren: Aiden Little, Parker trammell, and Landyn Murphy; one brother: Gary Murphy and his wife, Sonja of Pompano Beach, Florida; three sisters: Patti Leist of Cookville, Tennessee, Debbie Murphy of Golden, Colorado, and Donna Mudd and her husband, Tony of Greenwood Village, Colorado.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
