ilton L. LaVoie was born on February 11, 1943 to Arthur and Ethel (Flanagan) LaVoie in Tampa, Florida. Milton passed away at his residence on June 1, 2017 in Tampa, Florida.
Family
He is survived by his brother Sam Kelly and cousin Joan McDonald.
Military Career and Decorations
Milton joined the United States Air Force and entered active duty on June 21, 1962 in Jacksonville, Florida. At the time of his honorable discharge Milton was eligible to wear the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. Milton’s last duty assignment was with the 6314th Air Police Squadron under the command of Pacific Air Forces (PACAF). Milton was discharged as an Airman Second Class.
Military Honors
At 1:30PM on Friday, June 23, 2017, a graveside service with military honors at Florida National Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the United Stated Air Force Honor Guard from MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida.
