Modesto Solano Morales, 94, of Clearwater, Florida passed away at the Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Florida on November 5, 2021. He was born in Guastatoya, Guatemala on February 24, 1927 to Joaquin Solano Chi and Reyes Morales. He was an Industrial Arts Teacher and is preceded in death by his parents and six brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marta Solano of Clearwater, Florida; his children, Romeo Solano and his wife, Nancy of Irving, Texas and Moises Solano and his wife, Sherri of Orlando, Florida; a brother, Adrian Solano Morales and his wife, Maria of Guastatoya, Guatemala; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Modesto’s service is at 5:00 pm, Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Veterans Funeral Home, 830 North Belcher Road, Clearwater, Florida 33765 with Reverend Raul Rivera to officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 4:00 PM until service time.
His final resting place will be in his native Guatemala.
