Nancy L. Miller, age 90, of Seminole, Florida passed away on December 2nd, 2024 at HCA Florida Northside hospital.
On October 16th, 1934, she was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to her loving parents, Robert Huffman and Janet Cruickshank.
On October 28th, 1955, she married William W. Miller at St Mark’s Episcopal church and they shared 61 years of marriage. Nancy enjoyed dancing the night away with her husband Bill, “they could really cut the rug.” She enjoyed playing tennis. Nancy was the canasta Queen and master of Sudoku and crossword puzzles.
Nancy is predeceased by her beloved husband, Bill Miller, who passed August of 2016, her daughter, Janet Miller ( Kevin) Schrat in January of 2015, her son, Michael Miller in December of 2020, and her sisters, Jane Bowen and Barbara Marshall.
Survivors include her son, Mark Miller (Alicia) of Seminole, FL, Marcia Miller (John) Muench of Algoma, WI, Michelle Ann Miller of St. Petersburg, FL; her grandchildren, Jeannette, Danielle, Jason, Kelly, Nicole, Tracey, C.J., Melissa, and six great-grandchildren, and her sister, Mary Farkus of Oxford, Pennsylvania.
Nancy was the most beautiful, kind, and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. All who knew her loved and adored her. She will be greatly missed.
In lieu flowers, the Miller family has asked that Memorial contributions be made to the hospice wing at Bay Pines VA medical center, the salvation Army Toys for tots, or St Jude’s children’s research center.
Interment at Bay Pines National Cemetery will take place on Friday, February 14th, 2025 at 1:30 p.m.
