Nathaniel L. Loudenslager

Loudenslager 1

Nathaniel Loren Loudenslager was just 29 years old when he passed away on December 2nd, 2021. Born in Gettysburg PA, he grew up in Pinconning Michigan where he graduated from Pinconning Area Schools.  He attended MIAT College where he was studying hard to become an aircraft mechanic right after high school. Nathan was, for a few years, a member of a church in Midland, Michigan prior to his enlistment in the Army.

Nate demonstrated an amazing level of commitment to service becoming a Boy Scout at just 8 years old and sticking with it through years of ups and downs, earning many merits and badges including The Arrow Of Light.   Nate earned the prestigious title of Eagle Scout, staying active in BSA until it was time to answer a new calling in his life.  He enlisted to become a soldier in the United States Army, serving for over 8 years.  During his service in the Army, Nathan was an 11B – Infantryman, earned the rank of Specialist and his awards/medals include Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon and Army Service Ribbon.  Since he was good with computers and technology, Nate was going to have a new Army job as a 25B – Information Technology Specialist, but he passed before that next chapter in his career had begun.  Joining the Army and serving his country were among his proudest achievements.

He leaves behind the love of his life, wife, Martina, and a loving family who will always miss him.  Survivors include his parents Loren and Jessica Loudenslager, brother Jordan Loudenslager,  sisters  Summer (Brandon Fillmore) Loudenslager and Autumn (Dallas) Clymer, nephews Aydin Douponce, Adam Wilcox and Vincent Filmore, one niece Alice Loudenslager and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Joseph Loudenslager, Sharon and Al Huggard and George Woodbury,  aunt Jamie Woodbury and uncle Brett Kulick.
