Mom, Grandma, Auntie Patti, devoted friend to all whose lives she touched, was called home by The Lord on Monday, November 30, 2020, near the end of her 88th year. She was born December 31, 1931, in Almond, NY, a daughter of the late Donald and Serena (FranklinStephens) Zirkelbach. Patti was predeceased by her beloved husband’s Robert E. Lyke and Rev. Nate Dye, and is the muchloved mother of Bob (Kathy) Lyke, Susan (Dennis) LykeCooper and Steven (Theresa) Lyke. Cherished grandmother of Kristen (Rick) Polonski, R.C. Remembered by her special cousins, Jeannie and Bob Brown, many nieces, nephews and friends who will sadly miss her. She was an active member of the Indian Rocks Beach Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for years. She was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman who enjoyed spending time with her friends, members of her Red Hat Club, and her Bible Study Group. And, there was always time for a game of Euchre or Uno and, of course, some shopping. Most of all she loved her family. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. A celebration of Patti’s life will be held at Bay Pines on Wednesday, 12/9, at 11:00am. Everyone must wear masks.

Patti was one of the best. I’m going to miss her and all the fun we had on our travels. We got along so well and had so many laughs sometime we would be in tears. She always said “you make me laugh” but in reality she made me laugh. Patti brought me closer to Jesus with all her wisdom and faith. I praise
God for bring her in my life and allowing us to be BEST friends. May she rest in peace with our Lord and Savior and save a place for me so we can laugh and pray together again. Can you imagine?
Patti, I just found out today almost 2 years since you’re passing that you’ve gone to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am so grateful that our Lord brought both you and pastor Nate into my life years ago! You are such a blessing to me over the years and a dear friend and I will miss you greatly!! Love in Christ Jesus, Cathy Indermuehle
