Patricia Marie Restivo-Conner “Pat” was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on November 30, 1949 to parents Thomas E. Restivo, a photographer, and Mary Jeanne Gillen, an administrative assistant. She was the youngest of three daughters, Carol Loraine (deceased) and Diana Jean (72). The family relocated to Texas when she was in middle school where she played clarinet in the band. In 1967, the family relocated to California where she attended Lemoore and Fresno High Schools. Pat met Richard “Rick” Rucker Jr., who lived in the same apartment building, and they were later married on March 30, 1968 before he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. She gave birth to her first daughter, Kammy Lee on February 3, 1969 and second daughter, Dawn Marie on August 28, 1970. The family moved to Clovis in 1972, where she was a homemaker. Patricia gave birth to another daughter, Kasie Lavonne on August 13, 1977.
Patricia bred and showed Siberian Huskies and loved the mountains where she and Rick enjoyed sled dog racing in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Later, Pat became an entrepreneur and started a small business known as The Typing Outlet specializing in resume writing and notary services. Pat enjoyed a life of horseback riding and square dancing where she met her current husband, Roger Keith Conner. The two married in 2014 and traveled the country over the past 3 years. They settled in Lutz, Florida where they have developed lifelong friendships and have enjoyed the “retired” life.
Pat went to the Kingdom of Heaven to meet the Lord surrounded by her family on August 18, 2019. She will be missed greatly.
