Patrick Michael Clark died Sunday, November 29, 2020, after complications related to epilepsy. Born January 16, 1995, in Winter Park, FL, Patrick attended Wekiva Springs Elementary in Longwood, FL, Teague Middle School in Altamonte Springs, FL, and graduated with honors from Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs, FL where he was a four-year letterman in lacrosse.
With a love for mathematics, Patrick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics from the University of Florida in 2017. He was an officer in the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity.
After graduating from the University of Florida, Patrick worked for FDM Consulting at JP Morgan Chase in Tampa, FL as a data analyst and worked most recently for the Figueroa Team, a real estate company in Orlando, FL, as a Comparative Market Analyst.
He was active in community service and outreach, leading vacation bible school, Sunday school classes, mission trips and more with his church families, most recently with St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Beaumont, TX.
Patrick was an athlete and a sportsman, playing baseball or softball, flag football, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, and golf throughout his life. Golf was truly a life sport for him, learning to play at five years old and continuing to play often with family, classmates, friends, and coworkers. In recent years he became interested in hunting and shared that experience with friends and family.
He was a special part of a large extended family and treasured the time he spent with them, especially the that extended family’s yearly summer tradition of spending a week together in St. Augustine, FL.
Patrick was many things to many people: son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle, friend, classmate, coworker, and teammate. For those who knew him in one or more of these ways, he will truly be missed.
Patrick is survived by his parents, Tony and Laurie Clark, his sister and her husband, Rebecca and William Odham, their two sons, Charles and Levi Odham, as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles.
Patrick’s interment will be scheduled sometime in the future.
Over the past week we have had many people reach out asking where they can make a donation to honor Patrick’s memory.
We have chosen two organizations that were both significant and influential in Patrick’s life; the Lake Brantley High School Lacrosse Team and Our Little Roses in Honduras.
Patrick’s time on the Lake Brantley lacrosse team created some of our favorite memories of him. Driving to all the games and tournaments, cheering from the sidelines, his smelly equipment bag, but mostly watching his love for the sport and his teammates grow over the years, many of whom turned into lifelong friends.
We are thrilled to announce we are starting the Patrick Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Lake Brantley High School Men’s Lacrosse Team. This scholarship will be awarded once a year to a player on the team.
Donations to this fund can be sent through Paypal, Venmo, or Zelle. The email address for these accounts is patrickclarkmemorial@gmail.com.
Checks, made payable to the “Patrick Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund” may be mailed to

We would love for you to provide your name and address when sending a donation so we can thank you appropriately.
You can also make a deposit to the scholarship account at any Wells Fargo location (email patrickclarkmemorial@gmail.com for account information).
Patrick went to Our Little Roses on two mission trips while a member of the Cathedral Church of St. Luke’s youth group. He truly enjoyed spending time with the girls there and leading them in vacation bible school, games, worship and more.

I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your son. My prayers are with you. Love to you and your family.
I am so very sorry!! I know what it is like to lose a child!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
We are so beyond saddened to hear of Pat’s passing. He truly was such a sweet, caring and giving young man. We always loved having him over! We will miss him so much! Love and prayers to you all!
Pat was undoubtedly one of the best men I’ve ever met. So genuine, so nice, such an infectious personality and hilarious without trying to be. I can’t even begin to imagine what his family is going through right now. He came over a few months ago for a party and was the life of it. I love him like a brother and will miss him greatly. Hoping and praying for the best in these trying times.
Tony and Lori, I cannot imagine what you’re going through with this sad situation. I know there’s nothing that can console you right now but I pray that in time your hearts will heal. We never know why things like this happen to us but know that you have so many who love and support you guys. Patrick was a lovely young man who gave every ounce of love in his heart in all that he did and interacted with. Although he is not a physical presence anymore, he’s now a spiritual presence who is with you and watching over you. His beautiful smile will always remain in our hearts and continue to bring joy into this imperfect world. Sending you love, prayers, and comforting thoughts.

Dear Tony and Laurie, We are sorry to hear about Patrick. Words are inadequate to express our sympathy but Ida and I are parents, so we know.
I, John, had only a few conversations with Patrick but he seemed like a kind, thoughtful and promising young man.
Interestingly, Patrick and I had some things in common: we both played lacrosse in college. In my case, a midfielder at Lehigh plus we were both Phi Sigma Kappa.
Our best regards, prayers and hopes for the future, Ida Pyle and John Scott

Sara and I send our deepest sympathy over this tragic news. Please know that all of your family are in the the thoughts and prayers of your many friends.
Pat was very good friends/college roommates with two of my close friends, Riley and John David. The first time I met Pat was in Saint Augustine and he was a friend right from the start. He was someone who could make you laugh and smile. I was lucky enough to see him Halloween. He will remain the BP champ in my heart forever. Rest easy, Pat. So very sorry for your loss💙
Tony, Laurie and Rebecca,
I was so very sorry to learn of Patrick’s passing. No words could ever possibly make the hurt and pain of this insurmountable loss go away. I pray that your memories provide each of you comfort in the days ahead. Patrick was loved by so many. He was a shining light. May angels lead him in. Love and prayers being sent to you all.
The Payne Family has so many fond memories of Patrick and the boys growing up. We were so fortunate to have known such a wonderful young man. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.
Tony, Laurie, and Rebecca,
I am devastated for you. Patrick was a great kid! I loved watching him with the little kids at St. Luke’s and will always think of him on Christmas Eve as the kids come in for the Christmas pageant. He was such a great sport dressing as the camel each year! I cannot imagine your pain. I pray you can feel God’s arms wrapped around you. I pray He will carry you through these awful times and will give you his perfect peace. I hope you can feel the love that so many people have for you and for Patrick.
So very saddened to learn of Patrick’s death. My favorite memory of Patrick is when he helped with a flag ceremony at Holy Spirit Church as part of a church service–possibly a Scout Sunday. The flag was much larger than him and he was so determined to be able to carry it at the proper angle for the processional through the church. He did! Tony, Laurie and Rebecca, I am praying for God’s embrace around you as you grieve the tragic loss of your son and brother.
Our Very best Hugs Ken and Nancy Yeager

Dear Tony and Laurie and family,
Like everyone else, I am so stricken by the sadness and suddenness of Patrick’s passing. I am so sorry. I only knew him from a distance at St. Luke’s. I saw him at VBS and EYC interacting with kids younger than him as well as his age. He always seemed so genuine, loving, fun, and wholesome. What a loss to the world, you, and all of us who knew him. He had a lot to offer and I can tell he was on a great path. I can’t even think of the pain you all are feeling. You are in my prayers. May you feel God’s grace and presence and love.
Laurie, Tony, Rebecca,
Praying that God will hold you strong in this devastating time, that He will wrap you in the love he has for all your family, that He will walk with you in your pain, console your tears with His hope, absorb your anger, and bring healing in time for the grief of losing such a loved son and brother. What an extraordinary young man that son (and brother) of yours, a blessing to those who knew him.
Pat was one of a kind, in only the most positive ways. He truly made everyone feel so loved wether he’d known you for a short time or years. He was the most Jesus loving man I’ve ever met and treated everyone with the upmost respect always. His parents should be so proud. Pat will truly be missed forever. Xoxo
Dear family, my heart breaks for you, the loss of a child seems to me the worst kind. Please know my prayers go with you every day, wherever you may be, and Patrick is always with you.
Love and prayers,
