Patrick Michael Clark

Patrick Michael Clark died Sunday, November 29, 2020, after complications related to epilepsy. Born January 16, 1995, in Winter Park, FL, Patrick attended Wekiva Springs Elementary in Longwood, FL, Teague Middle School in Altamonte Springs, FL, and graduated with honors from Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs, FL where he was a four-year letterman in lacrosse.

With a love for mathematics, Patrick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics from the University of Florida in 2017. He was an officer in the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity.

After graduating from the University of Florida, Patrick worked for FDM Consulting at JP Morgan Chase in Tampa, FL as a data analyst and worked most recently for the Figueroa Team, a real estate company in Orlando, FL, as a Comparative Market Analyst.

He was active in community service and outreach, leading vacation bible school, Sunday school classes, mission trips and more with his church families, most recently with St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Beaumont, TX.

Patrick was an athlete and a sportsman, playing baseball or softball, flag football, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, and golf throughout his life. Golf was truly a life sport for him, learning to play at five years old and continuing to play often with family, classmates, friends, and coworkers. In recent years he became interested in hunting and shared that experience with friends and family.

He was a special part of a large extended family and treasured the time he spent with them, especially the that extended family’s yearly summer tradition of spending a week together in St. Augustine, FL.

Patrick was many things to many people: son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle, friend, classmate, coworker, and teammate. For those who knew him in one or more of these ways, he will truly be missed.

Patrick is survived by his parents, Tony and Laurie Clark, his sister and her husband, Rebecca and William Odham, their two sons, Charles and Levi Odham, as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles.

Patrick’s interment will be scheduled sometime in the future.

Over the past week we have had many people reach out asking where they can make a donation to honor Patrick’s memory.

We have chosen two organizations that were both significant and influential in Patrick’s life; the Lake Brantley High School Lacrosse Team and Our Little Roses in Honduras.

Patrick’s time on the Lake Brantley lacrosse team created some of our favorite memories of him. Driving to all the games and tournaments, cheering from the sidelines, his smelly equipment bag, but mostly watching his love for the sport and his teammates grow over the years, many of whom turned into lifelong friends.

We are thrilled to announce we are starting the Patrick Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Lake Brantley High School Men’s Lacrosse Team. This scholarship will be awarded once a year to a player on the team.

Donations to this fund can be sent through Paypal, Venmo, or Zelle. The email address for these accounts is patrickclarkmemorial@gmail.com.
