Loved America with a passion!
Loved his standard poodles: Andrea and Filippo, named for himself ( Filippo) and for his stepson, Andrew Michael Davis, Esq. ( Andrea)
His loving stepchildren are : Andrew Davis ( Peace Corp Costa Rica) , Jessica Laura Wilson Davis ( citizen of New Zealand) and Rebekah Mary Elizabeth Davis, who lives with the family. Andrew took emergency leave to return home to care for his stepfather for over two weeks.
Both parents ( Francesco Ciaravino and Francesca Guecia) were born in Castellemmare Del Golfo, SICILY , where Philip, 3 years ago, celebrated his 90th birthday,
with loving friends and extended Ciaravino family.
Because of the careful records the Italians kept, he learned of and he walked the streets his parents walked on and visited the homes they were born in.
He delighted in the successes of his extended family and friends and held close to his heart, every one he knew there, and especially Salvatore Ciaravino, architect , from Castellammare , to whom we owe our eternal gratitude for his loving acceptance of us into his beautiful, immediate and extended, family.
Philip entered the art world in his 80s and created museum quality pictures of his beloved Italy and gave us Italian alabaster sculptures, admired by all.
We salute you, Philip, on a job well done, your life, and we admire you forever ! 🌹🇨🇮🇺🇸
