Regina “Jean” Dwyer, born March 14th, 1926 in Long Island, New York, passed away February 12th, 2022 in Tampa, Florida.
Regina is predeceased by her husband Arthur Dwyer “AJ”, and is survived by her sons Kevin and Christopher Dwyer, daughter-in-laws Denise and Trish Dwyer, grandchildren Megan, Jessica, Daniel, Christopher, and Mary-Jo, and great grandchildren Paddy, Remi, Vanessa, Amelia, and Tadem.
Regina received her Christian sacraments at birth in 1926, and was married to Arthur Dwyer June 24th, 1950. Regina was a school secretary for St Joseph’s and Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Schools for 27 years. She had a YMCA membership, and was an avid swimmer, enjoying water aerobics for well over 25 years. She also enjoyed line and country dancing, and traveled all over the world with Arthur in retirement.
Mass will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church February 17th, 2022 at 11AM. The funeral will conclude at Florida National Cemetery at 1PM, where she will join her husband.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances are asked to be made to hospice and/or diabetes foundations.
