Reverend Thomas Edwin Cline
October 30, 1927 – February 21, 2026
Reverend Thomas Edwin Cline, age 98, passed away on February 21, 2026, in Saint Cloud, Florida. He was born on October 30, 1927, in Lincoln Heights, Pennsylvania.
Thomas lived his life spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, faithfully serving his Lord and Savior. A proud World War II veteran, he carried a deep sense of duty, faith, and love for his country throughout his life.
Thomas attended Norwin High School and Fort Wayne Bible College. He served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he began a career as a watchmaker. Soon after, he dedicated his life fully to God and became an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. Over the years he faithfully served several congregations, including Lock Haven Assembly of God, Beaver Falls Assembly of God, and Mount Pleasant Assembly of God all in Pennsylvania.
In his free time, he enjoyed watching football, especially cheering for the University of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved the outdoors and found great joy in fishing, hunting, and spending time in God’s creation. At home, he especially enjoyed Marilyn’s cooking. Despite being diabetic, he was known to sneak a sweet treat now and then.
He loved his wife, Marilyn, with his whole heart. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cared deeply for his family. He often asked about each family member and faithfully prayed for them.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Henry Cline; his mother, Catherine Elizabeth Kemerer; his brother, Clarence Richard Cline and his beloved wife, Marilyn Ruth Treser Cline.
He is survived by his daughters, Judith Lynn Lewis and Debra Lee Davis; five grandchildren, Brenton, BriAnn, Brynn, Isabelle, Arianna; and eight great-grandchildren.
Reverend Cline will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his love for his family, and his lifelong commitment to sharing the message of Jesus Christ.

On behalf of my family I send my sincere condolences to the Cline family. My parents really loved your family very much. I have a lot of great memories while your dad was pastor in Beaver Falls. Now our parents are all together again in heaven rejoicing our Lord and Savior. My love and prayers go out to you Judy and Debbie. As well as to your extended families.
The thing I remember the most is what a gentle and kind man your father always was.
“Dad” Cline was always so welcoming to me as Debbie’s friend. He went out of his way to include me in the Cline family and I always knew that he cared about me. I recall his wry chuckle when Debbie and I would do silly things, and I also remember how he would say “ Deeeebbbie” with a rising intonation when he was not happy about something. Then it was time for me to go home! Dad Cline was such a devout man who shared his faith and who lived what he believed. I am a better person because of Thomas Cline. Thanks to Debbie and Judy for sharing your dad with me. I love you!
Debra,
Sending love and condolences to you and your family.
Judy
Dear Cousin Debra and Judy,
Mark and I were saddened to hear of Uncle Tom’s passing. I will always remember fondly the gatherings we all spent together at Grandma’s house for her birthday each year. Uncle Tom’s funeral service for Grandma will forever remain in my memory for his touching words describing Grandma’s life. I will remember fondly Uncle Tom’s inspiring Christmas cards he sent to both Mark and I. Sending our hugs and prayers to you both and to your families. Uncle Tom will be missed. Much love, Karl and Mark
