Richard Thomas Downey Jr. 74, passed away at his residence on April 21st. 2023, following a duration of diabetes, heart conditions.
Richard was born on April 24, 1948 in Columbus, OH. to the late Richard Downey and Helen (Klott) Downey.
Richard in 1985 married Ana Arduengo at the Elopement wedding, they were married for over 20 years.
Richard is survived by his two Daughters: Shannon Downey, Cynthia Downey. One son: Sean Downey. Granddaughter: Lucy Vimpeny,
Brother: Tim Downey.
Richard is preceded in death by his; parents, sister: Caroline Young.
Richard served in the U. S. Army during Vietnam also worked as a Merchant Marine, also was employed by, Teco Tampa Tugboats, Tropicana/Pepsico.
Memorial services will be conducted Friday May 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Veterans Funeral Care, 830 N. Belcher Rd. Clearwater, FL.
Ricks 3 children were with him during his most difficult times, offering him comfort and love. He will be missed by all of us. Death leaves a heartache that cannot be healed. Aunt Janet and Grandma A.
